Global Banking Hello UK is a service offered by ICICI Bank Ltd specifically for customers moving to UK on a work permit. It allows you to open a HomeVantage Current account in GBP from any ICICI Bank branch in India and start banking as soon as you arrive in UK, along with an NRI account with ICICI Bank Ltd.

Eligibility

Valid Passport and work visa for more than 6 months. (18 years or above)

On reaching UK

• Provide a letter from employer confirming UK address
• Duly signed address change form.
• Duly signed debit card and pin issuance form
• Submit a UK address proof document within 120 days of account opening as mentioned below

List of documents which can be submitted as Address proof, Identity proof, are given below. Please produce the original document(s) for verification as required.

Documents required at ICICI Bank India branch:

• Valid Indian Passport
• Valid work visa
• Letter from Employer confirming employment in UK
• Indian Address Proof

Documents required at ICICI Bank UK PLC branch:

• Letter from Company HR, confirming UK address
• Valid UK address proof within 120 days

Identity proof:

• Valid Indian Passport (containing your full name, address and photograph)
• Valid UK work visa

Please note: Validity of both these documents should be more than 6 months.
Address proof:

• Letter from Department of Work and Pensions with National Insurance Number
• Letter from HMRC with PAYE Notification
• Utility bills - must not be older than 3 months (mobile telephone bills are not acceptable)
• Bank/building society statement - must not be older than 3 months
• Full UK driving license - valid photo card driving license (if not used as proof of identity)
